Cape Disappointment wasn’t a disappointment after all. It is a nice state park which includes a lighthouse with the same name, and some beautiful coast line.
The only possibly disappointing part about it is that I still don’t know why it is named Cape Disappointment. However, a map I found inside the visitors center gave me a clue…

And now for something completely different[*->http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066765/]; a road trip!
Me, Markus, Jenny and Live are going to spend the weekend in a car (and outside it as well I hope) in southern Washington and northen Oregon. We haven't really planned the trip very much, hoping that a spontaneous trip will be even better than a planned one. The only rather clear goal we have is the town or place (we don't know which for sure) Cape Disappointment. It is a place near at coast which either is dead boring, or at least slightly interesting. Who knows?! In two days - we! 
Anyway, with such a cool name, how can you not visit that place? Hopefully, I'm back after this weekend with some (potentially) amazing pictures of the place!
