I've just booked a flight to Los Angeles in June when school is finished. There I will meet up with Andreas from Sweden for a two week roadtrip, before going back to Sweden.
Which leads me to the next thing; I am going back to Sweden. No [Google internship->Second Google interview] for me. While it is a little bit sad, it actually feels good to go back home as well. While I wouldn't have turned down an internship opportunity, I wasn't really convinced that I wanted to stay in the US right now. So going back to Sweden, meeting everybody again, and finishing my Masters degree feels like the right thing to do.

Hi Hendrik,
I have been following your blog for a while, keep up the good work.
I might myself go to the US this summer to study, hence I was wondering with which airline you booked your ticket home — I’ll probably have to fly to Los Angeles and I’m currently looking for cheap tickets…

Hi Lars, nice to hear from an unexpected but very welcome reader!
I booked my ticket home last fall from Kilroy (kilroytravels.com). I think I payed roughly 7000 SEK for a flexible date round trip ticket with SAS. I can also recommend SAS. The flight between Copenhagen and Seattle is about 11 hours, and SAS offers a large number of movies as well as the ability to use Internet onboard to help make that time pass by as quickly as possible.
For all flights within the US, I’ve just used different price comparison agencies such as Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, and Travelocity.com.
